~ Healing Begins in Your Heart and In Your Home! ~

Part 3

PRACTICE MAKES PERMANENT!

REALLY SPEND SOME TIME WITH THE LORD IN HIS WORD!

EMBRACE THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD! PRAY WITHOUT CEASING & DRAW CLOSER TO THE LORD EVERYDAY. LEARN TO STAND UPON HIS WORD!

If You are NOW an ADULT; Learn to nurture & Grow up the child within YOU! RELEASE WHAT HAS BEEN TO MAKE ROOM FOR WHAT CAN BE… Seek to DISCIPLINE & CORRECT PROPERLY with PATIENCE rather than punish, reinforce and instill anger within others. The LORD created us to ENJOY life. He wants us to have a rich full life spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. God wants us to have a healthy balance in life.

Allow the inner child in you to have fun. There are many ways to have good wholesome fun. It could be as simple as taking a walk, reading a book, playing chess, a video game, or watching something funny or interesting on television, or taking a relaxing scenic drive. It could be something as difficult as climbing a mountain, parasailing, skiing, painting or… Just make sure that whatever you do remain focused, stay centered and yes keep Jesus with you.

It is important to work together to create a healthy home environment that works for You. I Personally have always in general been more of a homebody. Today you can work, run a company or business and do just about anything from home or a cell phone due to technological advancements… There are of course exceptions. I am content alone, with a few, many or in a crowd. We personally enjoy an active, multi functioning yet peaceful domicile. Your home should be the one place that you can be comfortable and free… It is important you or all of you together seek to make your home a place of comfort that welcomes healing…

Life is precious and I truly believe that everyday is a PRECIOUS GIFT from the LORD! Daily invite the presence of the Lord in and around you to allow the Lord His place in your life.

Always allow the adult in you to keep you responsible and disciplined. Don’t let others control you by remote. Self-Control is part of the Fruit of the Spirit. Always remember that God is Omniscient. You do not have to compromise who you are in Him in order to enjoy yourself and have fun. GOD did not SAVE US to be unhappy all the time. You can always find contentment and peace in the Lord! PRAISE GOD & THANK YOU LORD! Learn to “Guard Your heart!” Seek the Will & the Way of the Lord above all else. Healthy boundaries are important. Remember God is Omnipresent. He has given us HIS precious Holy Spirit to help us in any and all situations. Thank God for Christ Jesus!

PRAY for DISCERNMENT! For we live in a time when GOOD is called evil and evil is called GOOD! It is very important to stay in the WORD! God’s Word is necessary Spiritual Food for our souls!

KNOW this; Through CHRIST JESUS THERE IS VICTORY!

GOD is more than able. GOD wants us to become complete in Him! Begin to Allow the “JOY of the LORD to be your STRENGTH!” Take regular Spiritual Baths in HIS WORD! As You embrace its TRUTH you will discover that it is “Alive and Powerful!” Finding a balance is key… GOD can heal any heart and any home. Daily invite HIS presence in and around you. This also what builds HIS CHURCH. “We are HIS people and the sheep of HIS pasture… ” Know that as a Believer your body is the Temple of the Living God.

GOD CAN MAKE YOU WHOLE!

THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT!

As Believers know GOD has NO Grandchildren. So, it is never too late to learn. GOD can mend your broken heart. Correction is also a part of Love.

As long as HE has us on this side of HEAVEN it is to daily Grow in HIS LOVE, GRACE, WISDOM & KNOWLEDGE!

~ CHILDREN & PARENTS ~

CHILDREN OBEY YOUR PARENTS IN THE LORD, FOR THIS IS RIGHT!
“HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER” ~ WHICH IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT WITH PROMISE! THAT IT MAY GO WELL WITH YOU AND THAT THEY MAY ENJOY LONG LIFE ON THE EARTH.

FATHERS DO NOT EXASPERATE YOUR CHILDREN; INSTEAD, BRING THEM UP IN THE TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION OF THE LORD…” EPHESIANS 6

If someone is caught in a sin you who are SPIRITUAL should seek to restore him (or her) gently…”Galatians 6

CHRIST JESUS CAME; THAT WE MIGHT HAVE AN ABUNDANT LIFE IN EVERY WAY; EVERYDAY; BLESS HIS HOLY NAME! FOR HE IS THE DAYMAKER and the WAY MAKER. HE IS ABSOLUTELY AWEWONDERFUL!!!

We Need To Pray

Everyday on my way to the office I pass by this church building. Most days I don’t pay it much attention, except for Thursday. On Thursday, there is a long line of people made up of women, men, and children, pretty much all races of people. Some are able bodied, some are in wheel chairs. All are there to receive the food that is handed out by the church.

It is indeed a very good thing this church does. I can only imagine that for some in the line, its’ the best meal they get all week.

Each Thursday as I past the line, I say to myself, “If it wasn’t for the grace of God, there go I”, and immediately acknowledge, thank God, and whisper a prayer for those in the line. I often ask myself, why is this, then I’m reminded of the scripture “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Yes we will have trials and tribulations, but we must still be faithful during the trials & tribulations. We need to pray.

This scene at the church also reminds me of a song from years ago, which I use to play for one of the many choirs I directed. It escapes me who wrote it, however the lyrics causes one to reflect on some of the troubling times people experience in life, from which none of us are exempt. Some have greater needs than others, but we all have need to Pray.

“If God Gave Us Everything We Need, Then We Wouldn’t Have Need To Pray”

Somebody’s heart must be broken each day
Sorrow and sadness, must come somebody’s way
Somebody’s life, must be filled with despair
Nowhere to go, but to God in prayer

Someone must go hungry, and beg for bread
No shelter to cover, his poor weary head
No one to care, and no one to share
Another day’s burden, that seems so hard to bare

Oh, but there must be hills and mountains to climb
Roads that are rough, and troubling times
If God gave us everything we need
Then we wouldn’t have need to pray

We Need To Pray
