Famine Of Righteousness Part 1

Famine Of Righteousness

Worship goes far beyond, just having an emotional experience. It is during worship one can actually experience a closer spiritual encounter with the Lord. Worship includes adoration, exaltation, magnification, glorification and the giving of thanks to the Lord! Webster defines worship as; an extravagant respect admiration or devotion to an object of esteem; reverence paid to a divine being or supernatural power.

RESET!

Everyday is a precious gift from the Lord.  Your personal  daily devotion to the Lord  is important! God can meet you right where you are.  Regardless as to what is happening in this world or what is,  or is not going  in your life; GOD STILL  DESERVES  to be honored, praised, thanked & worshipped! He can help you meet the challenges that life presents. He can help you rise above them all.   Begin to live everyday starting now: ” TO GOD BE THE GLORY! ”

God’s principles for life, living, His Church, marriage and the family as well as “True Worship” are continuously being abandoned.  God wants each of us to seek Him first. Everything that we will ever need we can discover in Him.

GOD IS!

God is Omniscient therefore He knows all things spoken or unspoken. There is no fooling God.  If you think you can you are only fooling yourself. When you truly believe this you will begin to think and live differently.

God is Omnipotent; meaning all power! God so deserves pure unadulterated worship & praise. God created us to worship Him. It is we who need Him. He did not program us like computers or make us to be robots.  He has made each of us uniquely different.  We have our very own temperament. It is out of His love and mercy that He allows us the freedom to choose to worship Him. This is not the same as being religious.  You can worship just about anything.  However, the true worshippers must worship God; “ In SPIRIT and in TRUTH.

God is and always will be eternally everlasting. He wants us to live a life of worship. We  are living in the midst of an invisible war zone.  The battle is not ours.  God is able to keep us in the midst of it. However, we must learn to seek Him daily and stay adorned in our spiritual armor. This is why each of us  need Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  Have a spiritual feast. Daily partake in His Word!  Begin to really;  “lean & depend on Jesus.” For He wants us to live our lives to please Him. “ For though we live in the world we do not engage in war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world…” II Corinthians 10.

Ezekiel is a great example of a man that chose to live a life of worship and obedience to God.  This is not always easy. He was  no doubt  a “peculiar” man.  It is a conscious choice to live apart from the world yet, remain within it. Despite what was going on about him, he lived what he preached, proclaimed and prophesied. Look about us and see all that is happening.  Today it is also so very important too that your main focus for life and living for the Lord become your main priority. Instead of just focusing only upon  the here and now begin to look deeper.

This is why worship is so very important. “Be still and know.” When your life is built upon the “Solid Rock” principles of the Lord’s Word you will be able to endure and press  onward.  Even in this day and time when much is going on, do not  compromise your godly principles and values. We must learn to TRUST GOD regardless of what happens. As children of God He still wants us to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.” Proverbs 3.

Today we are currently experiencing a “famine of righteousness.”

One must only visit the corridors of scripture to see time and time again the consequences of what happens when the world, a nation, His Church, politicians, or a group of people ignores what God has to say. Ezekiel was willing to forego the praises and misunderstanding of God’s people. He did not receive a warm reception, nor was he welcomed or celebrated. Yet he moved all throughout the people serving the Lord.  They instead had chosen to accept and embrace the ways of the world.

Our devotion to the Lord must be more than talk. Sometimes it requires that we make grave spiritual  sacrifices.  Such as time in personal devotion and more  time with the Lord in His Word. We are to; ” Be in the world but not of the world…” We must at times forego the support of others. Less dependency upon being accepted by the masses and more focus on honoring God. Less time seeking to be understood  yet striving daily to understand the Lord and His  marvelous living Word.

We should continually be drawing near to the Lord.

Many are  pressured to think  in terms of giving  sacrifices of material goods or money.  Often  to the point some neglect to tend to their  own home life.  Their place of worship has actually become a place to escape? To some their little kingdoms?  This is due to many church assemblies have become very material in regards to their constant concern for things for the building.  There is nothing wrong to want a nice place of worship.  But consider the cost before you build. Is it or will it be a continual burden you must bear. Not everyone is spiritually mature… Please do not continue to fleece the sheep of God… Depending on the assembly, often tithes are used  to determine one’s worth or their level of  participation and influence…

Malachi is often used to enforce the Tithe.  It is important to study the Word to know what the Tithe was for and what it actually was…   Malachi  was the last Old Testament Prophet/Priest sent  to Israel by God.  He spoke strong rebukes to both the priests as well as to the people. They had faltered in their commitments to the Lord.  He called them to “REPENT!”  After Malachi there is a silence of 400  or more years.   God will make a way for us to do whatever He calls us to do.  “…Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not…  Malachi 3

Things in themselves are not bad.  And it is good to give! But, In some cases money has become some congregations primary focus.  Keep in mind; “God loves a cheerful Giver!”

Does not the Lord say; “seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything else will be added…” Matthew 6   Well this is true for the assembly of the Church as well.  When the Tabernacle which was a grand tent  was assembled, they carried it  from place to place. Notice all the things that were in the Tabernacle?  What they did?  What they did not do? What was not allowed?   There are 50 chapters devoted in the Bible to the Tabernacle.  13 in Exodus,  18 in Leviticus  13 in  Numbers,  2 in Deuteronomy. It was known to be a place  to gather together to worship & praise God.   It was dedicated as a special place set apart to honor our Lord God;  Yahweh!

The main focus and top priority  was always to worship GOD! Think about it  when Solomon built the Temple.  All that he needed to build the  place of worship was already provided…   For hundreds of years there were no places of worship built  for the Church of God to assemble.  The Disciples and the Apostles built no places of worship…  Jesus built no place of worship.  It is your choice to build a place of worship. Therefore trust God!

” Know ye not that; Our bodies are the Temples of GOD! “

There has been a priority shift.  Many other things are now included in worship? Some places of worship are more like community centers.  Some of everything goes on in the name of the Lord!   It is important to know GOD and HIS WORD for yourself.  Focus more on Him rather than your issues. Allow Him to strengthen your faith and trust in Him. Think deeper upon the spiritual disciplines.  Our future and eternal life rest in the Lord.  We are each accountable to God for what we do.  Know what God requires of you.

“THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!”

God speaks to His people in many ways.

God never forgets those who are faithful!

The name Ezekiel means; God is strong or God strengthens! True success in a spiritual sense is not how the people respond to us, but it is how we respond to God! Ezekiel was called to an “obstinate and stubborn” group of people. We too are often called to share our faith with unkind, ungrateful, disrespectful , rude, hard, harsh and spiritually abusive people… Yet, God Our Father has promised to; ” NEVER LEAVE NOR FORSAKE US!”   It is vitally important to develop an intimate personal relationship with Him. ALL of His promises are true! ” GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU/US! “ The Lord wants us to share the Gospel regardless as to how we might be perceived, even today when we are today in this world are experiencing a “famine of righteousness.”

When studying the book of Ezekiel if you look closely you will see just how closely it relates to what is going on in the world right now. Ezekiel genuinely wanted the people to understand who God is. He was sent to the children of Israel to remind them of God’s principles for life, living and worship. The children of Israel were not a nation who did not know God. They had just become “rebellious”. They had turned their back on God and instead embraced many of  the ways of the world. Ezekiel went to great lengths to get their attention. For over two decades he wrote, preached, warned and pleaded with God’s people to return to His principles.

In reading Ezekiel one must not be so removed from him that he is thought of as a fictional character with an irrelevant message. To embrace the overwhelming genuine concern he exudes one must put on  their spiritual ears and listen attentively. Ezekiel tremendously, ferociously and vehemently cries out as he prolifically expounds God’s Truth. Since he had been labeled as being “strange” the people were quite reluctant to listen.

Ezekiel wanted the people to return to God.  We too should want the people to return to God!

Famine of Righteousness Part 2

Ezekiel models a godly lesson to the people

Ezekiel was a wise prophet. He went so far that he actually humbly acted out with great dramatization the need to be obedient. He personally modeled a thought provoking godly message to the people. To prove his point, he himself laid bound on his side facing a clay model of Jerusalem for 390 days. He ate a simple meal of wheat, barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt baked into bread cake weighing about 8oz, that was cooked on cows dung.

He then turned to his other side and lay there for another 40 days. This was an additional reminder to remind them of their 40 years spent wandering in the wilderness. Ezekiel went to great lengths to get their attention. He earnestly wanted them to return to the Lord. He even shared his vision of the corrupted Temple. They were experiencing a “famine of righteousness.”

There was absolutely no doubt that the “hand of the Lord” was upon Ezekiel. The Lord gave him graphic picturesque visions. The people however still simply refused to listen. Ezekiel personally experienced “The GLORY of the LORD” on many occasions. Over sixty times throughout the Book of Ezekiel he repeated “Then they will know that I am the Lord.” Ezekiel was known for his strangeness. He took grave measures to demonstrate his dedication to the Lord.

The many prophets before him had also been often ignored. Their unfavorable messages were overlooked and thought of as negative. Yet despite the odds God kept, sustained and strengthened them. The Lord said to Ezekiel; “Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you…” He said “Son of man I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; and they and their fathers have been in revolt against me to this very day. The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn…”

The Lord told Ezekiel to speak HIS WORD to them whether they listened or not. Ezekiel was given a scroll to eat. As he ate it, he said “So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.” They simply just did not want to receive the message that Ezekiel presented to them. God’s Word will yield conviction but there is a savory lasting sweetness when digested. They could not see how they had allowed the world, bureaucratic politics and its foreign customs and ways into the Temple. Ezekiel was able to experience the “Glory of the Lord” because of His obedience.

GOD is so AWESOME!

Many of the ways of the world have nested themselves in the midst the Church of God

Today it is really no different, the world and society in which we live continuously attempts to embed its principles within the people of God. To make acceptable what God has said is not acceptable and to cloak and present itself as though one is practicing unconditional love. Yes, “God is Love”  but He is also a just God. According to Nahum; “The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, He will not acquit the wicked.” Deception is all about us. Today because of it we too are experiencing a “famine of righteousness.”

God’s principles for life and living are continuously put on the back burner. Ezekiel is such a good example because he had a real concern for the abuse that was taking place within God’s Temple. Sin was rampart among the people of God. Many of the leaders had simply lost their faith and were trying many alternative ways. They wanted the accolades of the people over the favor of God. Ezekiel was shown firsthand the “wicked and detestable things that they were doing.” They had banned together and plotted wickedness. They had embraced and accepted quite worldly practices and worship that was not acceptable to God. They had allowed the world into God’s Temple. The Glory of the Lord departed from the Temple.

True Worship

Pray all throughout worship. Manipulation does not move the Lord. Worship should never be about theatrics. There are many different modes of worship. Know this, God’s Holy Spirit is never not aware of what’s going on anywhere. This is true even if there are all types of emotional outbursts. Grief, sadness and the light or heavy normal burdens of life can bring forth sadness and tears. When this happens pray and place your focus upon the Lord. A sweet gentle release can come about. ” Rejoice in the Lord! Again I say rejoice! ” For our God is omniscient and therefore always knows about everything and everyone at all times. Peace, joy, meekness and self control are fruits of the Holy Spirit.

When deliverance is needed there will be all sorts of frantic emotional outbreaks. But this is not praise it’s pain, burdens and suffering… One must be led by His Holy Spirit to know and discern when and when not to respond. It is also a time to pray, focus and intercede for chains and depressive burdens to be broken and lifted… It is during deliverance we petition and evoke the infilling presence of the Lord to intervene and cast out doubt, fear, torment, pain, demonic influences, and anything that is not of Him… This is a time for deep intense fervent intercession. This is not always apparent to onlookers. For fervent prayer is also being in a focused prayerful state of mind… Always keeping in mind God is never far from us… YES, do praise and thank our LORD GOD when deliverance comes forth. For HE is the ONE who gets the GLORY!

It takes courage to “STAND!” upon the principles of GOD!

Yes, we can freely worship and praise the Lord. However, we should always be mindful that our worship & praise is to God! Our almighty fortress God is forever worthy of “True Worship.” We need to daily ask for the infilling presence of His Holy Spirit. Yes, this world is on a “slippery slope”. Yet, we can still depend on the Lord God to keep us safe even in the midst of an unstable world. Even when we know this world is experiencing a “famine of righteousness.” Therefore, stay on, the ” Narrow Path “ that has fewer travelers. It is very important to know that despite how things appear; “God is always ultimately in control.”

Stay focused upon the Lord; don’t become distracted

Ezekiel again is a wonderful memorable example. He displays how God may require you to do some things and give up some things. Some of the customarily practiced traditional behaviors should be abandoned. Being those things that distract from who God is; rather than welcome His presence. Worship should not be out of habit or simply a learned behavior. It is a natural expression of praise, thanks and appreciation towards God. From a carnal perspective many simply cannot comprehend this. They do not see that many hinderances have been adopted… When God reveals something to you respond or do not respond accordingly. Looking through the lenses of one’s spiritual eyes you can better grasp the spiritual significance of the action.

God always leaves a remnant of His people. He always has something better for us. There is always more with the Lord. He wants us to grow in His grace, wisdom and knowledge. He does not ever want us to be stuck in mediocracy. He wants to manifest and multiply the Fruit of His Spirit within us. This is why it is so important to know firsthand the Word of God for yourself. This way you are not just towed along with whatever is going on. Sometimes we are to observe. God’s Word is rich and powerful. It contains a plethora of lessons of disobedience, betrayal, rejection, spiritual warfare, power, and love. Christ Jesus became the Word wrapped in sinless flesh. He conquered sin in the flesh for us all. True victory is always found in the Lord and abiding within His principles.

God sometime requires us to do some seemingly strange things. Sometimes we are to observe and pray. When God’s Spirit is with you, you can expect to at times to be persecution, ridiculed, misunderstood or rejected. It is in seemingly hopeless situations that God is able to do a great work through you or to you.  We are to remain disciplined and alert.  There is nothing more important in life than your relationship with the Lord.

Benefits of the believers faith

Our faith, hope and trust must always be in the Lord. Jesus Christ’s life, death, crucifixion and resurrection were for a great purpose.  It is because of Him we have been bestowed with eternal life. It is by faith we walk in obedience to our professed salvation.  Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Life as a Christian comes with a plethora of benefits. As we embrace and implement the truth of His Word we spiritually grow. Hebrews 4 tell us, “For the WORD of GOD is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

Each day is a precious gift from the Lord. We should always be able to find something to be thankful for.

We as believers are to live our lives in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. This should be our first priority.  In the Lord we can forever strive and thrive! Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account.  We are to always contend for the faith! Daily we have the opportunity to grow in His grace, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. God always has a personal interest in the lives of His children, even when there is a “famine of righteousness.”

A Gated Community

“Praise ye the LORD.
Praise the LORD, O my soul. While I live will praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto My GOD while I have My being…” Psalm 146

I recently heard a sermon where the speaker spoke in a negative way about people who live in gated communities. That sermon motivated me to write this article, as I want to point out some things about gated communities, why people desire to live within the confines of a gated community, and why ultimately we all should want to live in a gated community. However, before I expound on the gated community statement, I want to share what I believe is an over-arching issue, that causes statements such as these to be made, and the impact they have on a church congregation.

The picture that is painted is that these un-named individuals think they are “better” than everyone else. So, they are scrutinized and criticized because they have been prosperous. Unfortunately, what this does more often than not is cause those who may not be as prosperous to have “distorted thinking” about those who may have more, causing them to view these individuals in a wrong light. Distorted thinking is when you think things about an individual based on what someone else has caused you to believe, and not based on your own personal interactions with those individuals.

The  “gated community” statement is really systemic of a larger issue. This is a pretty typical but sad thing that happens in many congregations, where a Pastor/Preacher has an issue with someone in the congregation who may have acquired wealth, or a certain degree of success.  They insert statements in their sermon that have nothing to do with the Word of God, but are designed to place focus on certain individuals in a negative way. I’m sure you’ve heard a many sermons where a pastor/preacher talks about the people who have the fancy cars, a big house on the hill, college education, etc.  Sprinkled into the sermon are also statements such as “when you see people who ….…”, which causes some to look around to see if they can identify those individuals within the congregation.

The men/women of God who deliver such messages may not realize it, but they are actually sowing discord among  the  brethren, causing  division in the body, and causing the saints to be judgmental in a wrong kind of way. Usually when this happens in congregations the speaker normally has specific people in the congregation in mind, and there are others in the congregation who also know exactly who they are talking about.  You may ask, how do I know this happens?  Well I know because we  have been in the church continuously (never left) for over 60 years, and have been the target of many such sermons.

It’s really a shame that this occurs, particularly in the church from people who claim to have been called by God to deliver HIS message to HIS people.   In spite of all the encouragement and opportunity that is given to people to make something of themselves, and to utilize God given talents, gifts, and abilities, when it actually happens for some, there are those who seem to have an issue with them for succeeding and achieving .

I know these people are not speaking for God because they are making statements that are contrary to His written word. The real problem is not the ones who have succeeded, but the ones who have an issue with others achieving more than themselves.  They might have an “inferiority complex”, or are struggling with envy or jealousy.  It shouldn’t be an issue, for we all should know that God has told us in His word, that HE is the one that gives man the ability to acquire wealth and to become prosperous, and has provided in His word the prescription to be blessed.  Take a look at these scriptures as this is what God has said:

Deuteronomy 8:18

“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Psalm 1: 1-3

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Joshua 1:7-8

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

For the past 26 years we have lived in a gated community, which we have thoroughly enjoyed. These communities require a special access code for entry, and if you don’t know the code you can’t get in. Typically there are higher end homes, often have private security patrolling the community, video recording of all who enter and exit, and are normally located in some of the most desirable and prestigious areas.  The homes typically have a higher price tag because of the location, and as many know, real estate value is really dependent on location, location, location.

Many believe that those who live in gated communities, are snobbish, think they’re better than others, etc.    However,  this thinking is normally created in their mind by someone who doesn’t live in a gated community, and for all the reasons I mentioned above.   If you actually got to know some who live in those communities up close and personal, you will find that’s not what they think at all.   They’ve just been fortunate enough in life to afford that type of living.

We chose to move to these communities because the homes we desired happened to be located in gated communities. Yes it is nice to have all of the amenities mentioned above, but it certainly doesn’t make us think we’re better than others. Just like anybody else, we looked for places to live that we felt we could enjoy and would be conducive in raising our family to be well-rounded, and able to engage with anyone in this world. We also wanted them to be color-blind, and experience that the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness  thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. It all belongs to HIM, and as his children, we can go and live anyplace in HIS world.  We are entitled.

We enjoy our gated community and all the surroundings.  I like the fact that the roads are paved and maintained, there is someone watching out for our well-being, the homes and properties are well maintained.

The more I think about gated communities it makes me think about Heaven.  In fact, those of us who profess to be Christians, we should desire and look forward to living in a gated community.  Why? If you want to go to Heaven, you will be living forever in a gated community. Heaven is the ultimate gated community.   In fact, it has more gates than any gated community I know. My Bible tells me that Heaven has twelve gates. As John the revelator said in Revelations 21:

“And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates:

Oh, and by the way, it has paved roads that are made out of gold.

Wouldn’t you like to live in this gated community, forever?    Well you can, but you will need to know the Access Code.

To get in you have to know Jesus, up close and personal.

If you don’t know the Savior, you can’t get in.

Healing Begins In Your Heart and In Your Home! Part 1

~ Healing Begins in Your Heart and Your Home! ~

Part 1

CHRIST CAME TO SET US FREE!

“It is for FREEDOM that CHRIST has set us FREE. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened with a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5

Seven IF’s to healing your heart and home!

IF You really want healing to begin seek the LORD above ALL else. You cannot change what has been, but YOU CAN start afresh TODAY.

IF You want to start healing this next generation think about what you do and say in front of them. Apologize for what has been and help them get to a better place. It’s never too late to start anew.

IF You raised, or are raising your children by yelling, screaming and cussing at them guess what? They will probably do the same thing. They will seek to dominate and control others…

IF You hit them upside the head and slap them in the mouth; guess what? You are instilling anger within them. You are making them a slave to sin. This is not all appropriate or necessary. It is more a reflection of your lack of self-control than their behavior.

IF You are beating them to death; guess what? You are really, actually beating the natural life out of them. You are replacing it will stress, anger, hate, insecurity, and rage. You are actually shutting them down and causing them to become violent and pushing them towards seeking physical hitting and abusive ways that create even more inner conflict.  This further serves to give them poor coping skills  which makes them feel unloved.  It sets up an inner  unhealthy emotional environment that welcomes addictions and very little self control.   To name a few; Alcohol, Drugs, Overeating, Undereating, Promiscuity, Homosexuality, Adultery, Fornication, Unfaithfulness, Stealing, Lying, Fighting and Violence. These  are just a few of the results… Their way of being  is now obsessing  and learning to dominate and control rather than exercise Self-Control and become FREE!

IF You are calling them out of their name, talking bad about everyone else and constantly  putting them down: guess what? You are helping them have an identity crisis as well as low  self-esteem… They will see themselves as you express yourself to them. They will have poor opinions of others as well. They also will feel  lesser than,  rather than equal too. Children are NOT your slaves  or possessions and should not be treated as so regardless of race, creed or color…

The Good News is;

You can become FREE! You can begin to heal your heart and home!

IF You have done none of the above; guess what? There is still room for self improvement.  As long as the Lord has us on this side of heaven it is to grow in His Grace.  When  you are truly  willing to make some changes there are unlimited possibilities…

There IS ALWAYS HOPE in the LORD! Together you can move  forward towards healing.  They can be healed, restored and set FREE

“Greater IS HE that is within you than he that is in the world…”

Part 3

PRACTICE MAKES PERMANENT!

REALLY SPEND SOME TIME WITH THE LORD IN HIS WORD!

EMBRACE THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD! PRAY WITHOUT CEASING & DRAW CLOSER TO THE LORD EVERYDAY. LEARN TO STAND UPON HIS WORD!

You are NOW an ADULT; therefore you must learn to nurture & grow up the child within YOU! If you are not or were not happy you can become happier… RELEASE WHAT HAS BEEN TO MAKE ROOM FOR WHAT CAN BE… The child within you will and should always be a part of you. In actuality it is the part of you that allows you to have fun. The responsible adult in you is the part of you that seeks a balance. It is important to create a safe healthy home environment.

Seek to DISCIPLINE & CORRECT PROPERLY with PATIENCE rather than punish, reinforce and instill anger within others. The LORD created us to ENJOY life and desires to be the Center of ALL our lives. Marriage, family and home is the first foundational institution the Lord created. There has been much spiritual warfare attempting to destroy it since it’s inception. He wants each of us to have a rich full life spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. God wants us to have a healthy balance in life. God created us as spiritual beings.

Life can become stressful at times. A small amount of stress is healthy. It alerts you to become mindful of how you are responding to life in general. Allow the inner child in you to responsively have fun. There are many ways to have good wholesome fun. It could be as simple as taking a walk, reading a book, playing chess, a video game, taking a relaxing bubble bath, playing tennis or a sport of choice, watching something funny or interesting on television, or simply taking a relaxing scenic drive. It could be something as difficult as climbing a mountain, parasailing, skiing, painting or… This is also a good way to develop coping skills. Just make sure that whatever you do remain safe and focused, stay centered and yes keep Jesus with you.

It is important to work together to create a healthy home environment that works for You. For example; I enjoy traveling, working, writing, painting, and networking. Yet personally I have always in general been more of a professional homebody. I believe in having a “You play, You put away” environment! I like everything in order and being organized yet being comfortable. Structure is what makes others feel safe. They know what to expect. But for me there is nothing I enjoy more than a God Centered, Spirit~filled Worship Service. I can stay in a great worship service all day… I am thankful today you can work, worship, run a company or business and do just about anything from home or a cell phone due to technological advancements… There are of course exceptions.(So very thankful that the Lord has allowed me to be “In the world but not of the world!”) I am content alone, with a few, many or in a crowd. We together personally enjoy an active, multi functioning, neat, orderly, yet peaceful domicile. Each of us have different varying temperaments? We enjoy different things and doing a lot of things together. We enjoy one another’s company and choose not to major in the minors. We have a harmonic symbiotic union!

What do you enjoy doing? Whatever it is remember that it is important to find a balance in life. Your home should be the one place that you can be comfortable and free… Mutual respect should be a part of the atmosphere. You have a choice everyday what type of home environment you want to create. If you are not happy do something about it. It is important you or all of you together seek to make your home a place of comfort that welcomes healing and the presence of GOD…

Life is precious and I truly believe that everyday is a “PRECIOUS GIFT” from the LORD! He is the Creator and Sustainer of life. Live each day as though you are expecting the Lord Jesus to return. If you have not already it is never too late to start. Daily invite the presence of the Lord in and around you to allow the Lord His place within your life. “For it is in HIM we LIVE & MOVE and have our being.” Healing is always possible with the Lord!

Always allow the adult in you to keep you responsible and disciplined. Don’t let others control you by remote. There are many that seek to manipulate you to doing what they want you to do. Self-Control is part of the Fruit of the Spirit. Sometimes it is better to just say nothing when you are amidst those who misunderstand you. Exercising Self-Control yields much inner peace. Always remember that God is Omniscient. You do not have to compromise who you are in Him in order to enjoy yourself and have fun. GOD did not SAVE US to be unhappy all the time. It is important to readily admit however you are feeling and then take the necessary action to responsibly take actions whenever necessary. A lot of time just taking a few moments to be still and let the time past is sufficient. Make inner Peace your desired goal. You can always find contentment and peace in the Lord! “He will keep you in perfect Peace if your mind is stayed on HIM.” Scripture is not to just quote but to embrace an implement within our daily lives. It is so very important to know GOD & HIS WORD for yourself.

PRAISE GOD & THANK YOU LORD! Learn to appreciate who you are becoming in Him, We are forever growing. Learn to “Guard Your heart!” Not everyone is going to appreciate or like you. Seek the Will & the Way of the Lord above all else. Healthy boundaries are important. Remember God is Omnipresent we can call upon Him 24/7. He has given us HIS precious Holy Spirit, His Comforter to help us in any and all situations. Comfort you He will! Thank God for Christ Jesus!

PRAY for DISCERNMENT! For we live in a time when GOOD is called evil and evil is called good! There is much that has nested itself within the midst of GOD’S CHURCH that is not of HIM in these latter days. There has always been something Notice how in Revelation John was writing to the Church. There was something more or less going on in each place of worship that needed to be improved. It is good to regularly take and evaluation of yourself, wherever you worship or wherever the Lord has assigned you. It is very important to stay in the WORD! God’s Word is necessary Spiritual Food for our mind, body as well as our souls!

KNOW this; Through CHRIST JESUS THERE IS VICTORY! “Grace & peace is multiplied by the knowledge of God.” But you must embrace the TRUTH of HS WORD in order to grow in GOD’S GRACE.

GOD is more than able. GOD wants us to become complete in Him! You can not change what has been. But you can start anew from where you are. Begin to Allow the “JOY of the LORD to be your STRENGTH!” Take regular Spiritual Baths in HIS WORD. As You embrace its TRUTH you will discover that it is “Alive and Powerful!” Finding a balance is key… GOD can heal any heart and any home. Daily invite HIS presence in and around you. This is also what builds HIS CHURCH. Christianity is supposed to be a daily lifestyle. Not just a midweek or weekend activity. “We are HIS people and the sheep of HIS pasture… ” The building is not God’s Church; it is a place of worship where we gather together. Know that as a Believer your Body is the Temple of the Living God. It is within Believers His Holy Spirit resides. Ask the Lord to fill you as frequently as necessary.

This is what He teaches us in His Word:

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;” I Corinthians 6

GOD CAN MAKE YOU WHOLE!

THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT!

As Believers know GOD has NO Grandchildren. So, it is never too late to learn. We can daily grow in HIS GRACE, WISDOM & KNOWLEDGE! “GOD IS LOVE!” a part of love is correction. When many talk about God’s Love they think about what makes them feel good yet exercise very little patience. They don’t want to suffer yet longsuffering is a part of His Love as well. WE must learn to firmly STAND upon GOD’S WORD don’t be swayed by every “wind of doctrine.” Spend time with the Lord. Allow Him to refresh and renew Your Spirit! We are but shaped formed dust. He is the Magnificent Potter! He can mend your broken heart. He can shape and mold you into a “Designer’s Original!” Yes correction is also a part of Love. Trust is also a very important part of Love. When you allow GOD His place within your lives it brings about harmony! In a Covenant Marriage when on one accord GOD continually knits your hearts together in a beautiful way as ONE in HIS LOVE!

We can always & forever Trust GOD to be GOD! As long as HE has us on this side of HEAVEN it is to daily grow in HIS LOVE, GRACE, WISDOM & KNOWLEDGE!

Live before an audience of One! We serve an Omnipresent God and He is everywhere we are. Being close to the Lord gives you true Security & Significance. You realize that there is nothing more important in life than to live your life to please Him! There is no greater security blanket than to be Covered by the LORD!

~ CHILDREN & PARENTS ~

CHILDREN OBEY YOUR PARENTS IN THE LORD, FOR THIS IS RIGHT!
“HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER” ~ WHICH IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT WITH PROMISE! THAT IT MAY GO WELL WITH YOU AND THAT THEY MAY ENJOY LONG LIFE ON THE EARTH.

FATHERS DO NOT EXASPERATE YOUR CHILDREN; INSTEAD, BRING THEM UP IN THE TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION OF THE LORD…” EPHESIANS 6

If someone is caught in a sin you who are SPIRITUAL should seek to restore him (or her) gently…”Galatians 6

Invite the Lord into your home. It will make all the difference in the world. After all you are planning to spend Eternity with HIM? RIGHT?
CHRIST JESUS CAME; THAT WE ALL MIGHT HAVE AN ABUNDANT LIFE IN EVERY WAY! Abundant is relative. It can be more or less depending on each individual. EVERYDAY; BLESS HIS HOLY NAME! FOR HE IS THE DAY MAKER and the WAY MAKER. HE IS ABSOLUTELY AWEWONDERFUL!!!

Spiritual Food For Thought & Spiritual Growth 6

Spiritual Food For Thought & Spiritual Growth 6

“We as believers cannot follow the ways of this world and live a life that is pleasing to the LORD! It really is not logical. Take a few moments or more of your time daily and meditate upon the WORD of GOD. Be encouraged, convicted if warranted and also inspired to keep continually moving forward growing in HIS Grace.

GOD’S WORD is necessary Spiritual Food for our souls. It refuels, refreshes, revives and also empowers us to live for HIM! Prayer is very important. This is how we communicate with the Lord. Stay connected to the Him and “Pray without ceasing” all throughout your day. I even recommend taking “Praise Breaks” throughout the day. Know that God is Omnipresent. The more you become aware of His presence you will become stronger and securer in your personal relationship with Him.

We the people are HIS Church.  The building is not the Church, it is where we assemble together to Worship the Lord. Our bodies as believers who have accepted Christ Jesus into our hearts  as Lord and Savior is a Temple where His Holy Spirit dwells. Many come together for many reasons…  The Father,  His Son the Living Word,  Christ Jesus and Holy Spirit should always be the man focus during worship.  Therefore pray before, during and after you assemble together to worship.

We as His Church are supposed to be the LIGHT of this world. No doubt there are so many very unusual things going on all about us all around the world.  This is true during worship as well. No need for alarm for this all serves to  verify and confirm the TRUTH of HIS WORD.  Some of everything is going on in these “Last Days.” Simply take time periodically and see if you are on the Narrow Path that leads to Him or traveling or teetering the broad road that leads to destruction… Truly GOD is able to keep us!  Whenever necessary; readily REPENT & REFOCUS! Regularly take spiritual baths in HIS WORD. It has amazing miraculous cleansing POWER!

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, “Your Kingdom come. Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

Every day is a good day to Worship & Praise our Lord! True worshipers must “WORSHIP HIM in SPIRIT & in TRUTH” whenever or wherever we worship. Remember we are the Ecclesia meaning: His Worldwide Church is a committed congregation of believers. We the collective body of Christian believers who have confessed Christ Jesus, are regarded as actually constituting one Universal Church under God. We are to daily trust the Lord, commit to His Word and “Walk by Faith”

It is in the beginning in Genesis we discover that the world was spoken into existence by the Word which is Christ Jesus. This is confirmed in the Book of John. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” John 1

“NOW FAITH is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through Faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Hebrews 11

If the ship of your life, is tossing on the sea of strife
You need someone.

If your house is not a home, and you feel so alone
You need someone.

If it seems life isn’t fair, and there’s no one left to share
All your lonely days and nights, it seems that nothing turns out right. And you need someone to care, someone to just be there
You need someone.

So, I give you, Jesus
He’s the peace that passes all understanding
I give you, Jesus
He’s the perfect love that cast away all fear
I give you Jesus
He’s that water that you drink and never thirst again
I give you, Jesus
My friend… I give you, Jesus

If the pressures all around, keeps your spirit to the ground
You need someone

If your body is wrapped with pain, and your health you can’t regain
You need someone

If there are times that you have tried, all the strength you have inside. And it seems like you have failed, remember Jesus was nailed
For all your bitterness and grief, He is here to give you sweet relief. You know Jesus, is that someone you need

I give you, Jesus
He’s the peace that passes all understanding
I give you, Jesus
He’s the perfect love that cast away all fear

Spiritual Food For Thought & Spiritual Growth! 3

Spiritual Food For Thought & Spiritual Growth! 3

“Make every effort to live in PEACE with all men and to be HOLY; without HOLINESS, no one will see the LORD. See to it that no one misses the GRACE of GOD and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. See to it that no one is sexually immoral or godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as an oldest son.” Hebrews 12 ~ WORD FOR TODAY ~

~ THOUGHT FOR TODAY! ~

Sin inhibits our spiritual growth. Many do not like you to talk about sin. They feel that you are judging them and or negative. As you spiritually grow you realize that it is important to confront any sin in your life as well as the lives of others. Sin keeps us in darkness separated from GOD!

As you study the WORD of GOD you will see HIS Prophets, Priests, Apostles, Disciples nor HIS SON JESUS CHRIST were not always readily accepted. They suffered persecution, mistreatment, as well as a multiplicity of mental anguish and sometimes even physical abuse. They were often misunderstood yet pressed onward living for the Lord. They steadfastly proclaimed, and preached about the importance of living for the Lord. Their mission to share the marvelous GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST remained their primary focus.

We who profess to be believers are to walk in the Light!

Today in this 21st century just about anything goes… The Word of God is often set aside to encourage satisfying the desires of the flesh. There is a tendency to subliminally enable rather than seek to set free and make whole. We should always encourage self-control. It is part of the Fruit of His Spirit. God loves us and always wants what is best for each of us. God’s Love has been so terribly misunderstood.

Holiness for many is a mere option.

Ministry was never meant to make us comfortable with the ways of the world. God has created each of us with a purpose. It is our choice to seek Him daily. Keep your focus upon the Lord. Seek HIS WILL & HIS WAY for your life each day above everything. Allow Him to daily lead you in the Path of Righteousness for His Namesake. Only GOD can give you HIS PEACE that surpasses the understanding of man.

Once we truly accept Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior, His Holy Spirit abides within us. In Him you can discover everything for Life & Living that you will ever need! As we embrace the principles of His Word into our hearts and implement them into our lives we grow spiritually. Our LORD & SAVIOR is here to HELP us. To set free and save us from the power of sin reigning within our daily lives. We live to become more aware and walk in the Light!

PRAY!!!

FATHER, May YOUR KINGDOM COME & YOUR WILL & YOUR WAY be done in my life…

We must learn to Trust God! “Walk by FAITH!” God has promised to put HIS laws within our hearts and write them upon our minds. We can learn so much from HIS Word. PRAY for DISCERNMENT! Whatever you are in need of today God already knows. It is our choice to submit and ask Him to fill us with the presence of HIS HOLY SPIRIT which is always available to lead, guide, direct and protect us 24/7!

HIS HOLY SPIRIT HIS COMFORTER will lead us to ALL TRUTH! In GOD’S time; “ALL things work together for the GOOD for those who LOVE HIM & are the called according to HIS PURPOSE!” Romans 8 You must hide the Word of God within your heart. This helps you to learn how to live to sin less…

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 8:38-39).

We must or should begin to embrace godly principles for life and living as believers. God has chosen us to live God centered lives. Daily take a spiritual bath in the Word of God! There is POWER in the BLOOD JESUS! “What can wash away my sin, nothing but the BLOOD of JESUS! What can make me whole again. Nothing but the BLOOD of JESUS!” Through the POWER of HIS HOLY SPIRIT we CAN live HOLY lives for the LORD! We are to be “in the world but not of the world!” Grace, Joy & Peace to you. Live each day to please the Lord!

We the people who BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST and have accepted HIM into our hearts is HIS CHURCH! VICCTORY IN JESUS!
“The gates of hell will NOT prevail against the CHURCH of GOD! PRAISE GOD! & BLESS HIS HOLY NAME! ~

Did You Grow Up In The Church? Part 1

Did you grow up in the Church but; the Church did not grow up in you? Did you regularly attend Church and regularly participate in all the auxiliaries yet, you did not or do not really have a real relationship with the Lord? Do you just go to Church and the moment you are behind closed doors you abandon all of God’s principles for living? Do you live Monday thru Saturday conforming to the world? Do you go to Church, study God’s Word but don’t really understand how to apply it to your own life? Have you or do you truly live a Godly life before your spouse and children or friends and relatives? Are you obedient to your pastor but disrespectful to your spouse? Are you a great Pastor who is a lousy husband? Do you really know what it is to have a personal relationship with the Lord? If the Lord was to return today can you truly say you will be “caught up in the air to meet Him?” Do you know that Jesus really does make a difference in your life? I am not talking about some religious experience. I am asking you these questions to provoke thought.

For many accepting Jesus Christ is a public experience. For many it is a procedure. For many, accepting Jesus Christ means to have your name on a membership role. Go through a basic initial training; decide what auxiliaries you would like to participate in then, jump right in. (I say auxiliary because there was a time when it was unheard of to say ministries.) If you attend regularly, pay your tithes, don’t make any waves, nor question the process, you have achieved conversion in the eyes of your trainers? In many cases you are expected to give in and yield to those who are in charge regardless. If you are related to or accepted by the established inner circle it is quite possible that as long as you conform to their wishes you can pretty much do whatever you desire. You do not really have to make any major changes in your personal life. Why? Because you love them and they love you, you have proven successfully that you are teachable, obedient and that you respect authority. They also are heart readers and can determine who is who? Hooray! You are now accepted in to what a very good God given friend of mine calls “the club”. Does any of this sound familiar? Did you grow up in the Church but the Church did not grow up in you?

What is the Church? Webster defines Church as; a building of public worship and especially Christian. A body or organization of religious believers. The clergy of a religious body. The Word of God teaches us that HIS people are actually His Church! The Christian Church is really a family of believers who have truly accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Who earnestly and faithfully have committed to being governed by God’s principles. As long as we remain on this side of heaven there is room for improvement.

Commit means to; put in trust. To cosign for preservation, disposal or safekeeping, to obligate, bind to and live by. When you commit to live for the Lord; you agree to surrender to His will and His way. You really should live your life from the perspective that God really does see everything. His Holy Spirit becomes your inner guide. You consistently study His Word. As you walk in faith and obedience to God’s principles you are strengthened spiritually. You don’t conform to the world neither do you disrespect the laws of the land.

The Lord loves us so much He gives us the freedom to choose. In His Word He tells us if you abide in Him He will abide in you. His Divine and Holy Spirit will take up residence in your soul. His Holy Spirit is also known as the Comforter. The Comforter will become your inner guide; The Comforter will make your conscious sensitive and aware of Godly instruction for life and daily living. The Comforter will let you know that Jesus Christ is the “Bread of life” John 6:35. That He is the “True Vine” John 15:1. That He is the “Light of the world” John 8:12. That He is “the way, the Truth, and the life.” John 14:6

God will give you a mentally sound mind. It is your choice to continue to sharpen it with His Word. PRAY FOR DISCERNMENT!

Ask yourself have you really chosen God’s way? Have you changed or just outwardly conformed to be accepted? If this is the case you will have very little self discipline. Nor will you have true inner peace. If you have truly changed there is an inner metamorphosis. You will begin to walk in the fruit of His Spirit. Do you really seek the truth? Or do you seek to prove and accept what is false? Is Jesus truly important in your home, job, career and life? Did you grow up in the Church but the Church did not grow up in you?

Did You Grow Up in the Church? Part 3

Church Interior 1
Did You Grow Up in the Church? Part 3

“There really is a difference between being in the Church and the Church being in you? When the Church is in you the Holy Spirit becomes the governor of your soul. You live in the world, you are to be a law abiding citizen but you realize it is in GOD you LIVE and MOVE and have your being. You are convicted whenever wrong. You readily REPENT! You do not desire to be right just for the sake of being right.

The Church is not just a place to go. It is who are! For you it is or should become your daily lifestyle to live to please God!

This is not some unrealistic, legalistic, rigid, mythical, unattainable, cultic way of being. You don’t or shouldn’t just follow someone because they are your friend… You should follow Jesus! Church was never meant to become a mere social club where everyone feels comfortable. You should realize how vitally important it is to live your life before the Lord. As a believer, You should know without a doubt that God is your Heavenly Father. That the devil his imps and no one or nobody can do anything to pluck you out God’s hands. That you truly belong to God and Jesus is your Lord and Savior! You have been adopted into His family and you know that you know that you know without doubting you are His child! Do you know what His Word says about being double minded?

Wait I must caution you!”
(The above was worth repeating just in case you are only reading Part 3)

If you have not been raised in the church DO NOT be discouraged! Read on because the Lord has a place for you as well! You are like a fresh breath of air because of your desire to embark upon a new beginning… ALL the same privileges of becoming a Child of GOD awaits you. ” Our Father, who art in Heaven. Hallowed be Your Name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven…”

You see, there really is a difference when you are in the Church and the Church is in you. You know that you have been bought with a price. You know that before you were formed in your Mother’s womb God knew and knows who you are. You also know it is not because of anything you have or have not. It is because of who He is! You can praise Him not only in the building; but you praise Him in your home, on your job or at your business in your car, in the midst of trials and persecution. Not just in mere lip service. You Praise the Lord when you are alone!

There is no need to act when you know that the Lord is totally aware of what we all do. Yes express yourself. Don’t be a chameleon and blend right in… Please, don’t be pressured because of a need to be accepted. We ALL will have to answer to Him for our actions. It is important to know that you have a right to not conform for the sake of being momentarily accepted. There are many things that have been integrated into worship and ministry to get others to conform. There is often a desire to generate a high energetic emotional worship & praise time. Many become emotionally charged. Praise & Worship is Great! Many do not realize the power of or behind music… In these latter days there is much more focus placed upon how your are feeling and what you can receive from the Lord. Worship & Praise should be a time devoted to God and who He is and what he has done and will do.

GOD IS A HOLY GOD!

God does not need any of us. Always remember; “…It is in HIM we LIVE and MOVE and have our being…” GOD is infinite and we are finite. This is not about undermining the validity of GOD’S CHURCH! This is about learning to exercise your RIGHTS and the FREEDOM you have wherever you decide to worship in a place that claims; ” HE IS LORD!” There are a plethora of places of worship all over the world. But, GOD has but ONE CHURCH! HE is the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob we serve as Believers.

Pray, Pray & Pray some more. Allow the Spirit of the Lord lead you. Let the Lord lead you what to do or not to do… God really does want to make a difference in your live everyday!

When you do not always respond in the way expected it is highly likely you will be misunderstood. You will also begin to actually better understand why others do not understand you. I always say; “Some things will not be understood on this side of Heaven!” What is always most important is to seek the will of the Lord above everything and everyone. Know that Jesus was grossly misunderstood. It is true God’s people are peculiar! God wants to strengthen your faith and trust in Him. You can stand even when you know others have done everything possible to try to discourage you. Keep Your focus on the Lord. God wants each of us to become the “Best You” in HIM! After all He is our Creator.

God is awesome! Standing for God does not mean resorting to carnality. Your confidence cannot be in you, are anything else. Yes, you can have confidence because you know God as your Father. You know that He knows you as His child. You know and He knows that you have spent some deep intimate time together in His presence. You are growing and so is your understanding of who He is. You know that He has set you free! You know that you have been raised in the church and the church is in you. Or You have come to know that now you are His Church.

God really has a better way for His children. God is not a respecter of persons. It does not matter to Him if you are rich or poor, black, white, red, yellow, tan or brown. He already knows where you live, work, play or “hang out.” He even knows if you have been raised in the church and the church is not in you. He knows if you walk in the flesh or abide in His Spirit. If you truly invite Him into your heart today He will come in your life and make a real difference. If you have not been raised in the church God can place His laws within your heart. It even may give you a different advantage. You see and observe and you wonder why? Know that the Spirit of the Lord is Omniscient and The Lord can teach you whatever you need to know. GOD will never lead you to do anything that goes against HIS WORD! It is important to make spending time in God’s Word a priority. There is and endless wealth of Spiritual Food for our souls in His Word. As you begin to grasp His Word it will wash you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. As a new believer you are not as weighed down with many of the traditions of man. You are should feel free to ask what this or that is so wherever you worship. Ask unto you have an inner peace. Make studying God’s Word your new priority. In His time He will mold and shape you from the inside out. This is a continuous process. He will also teach you how to guard your heart.

There are many wolves among the sheep. Don’t fret God always takes care of His children even in the midst of tests and trials. There are also those who call evil good and good evil. God will and can protect you and keep you from the grasp of wickedness. You must learn to humbly submit to His direction. He will open your spiritual eyes so you can begin to have a deeper understanding about life. No drugs, nicotine or alcohol needed to enlighten you. You don’t want to live always under the influence of some substance. (This is not anti valid prescribed medications) Begin to be more prayerful about how you take care of your body. You want to seek to have better self control in all area of your life. You will not want to see things as they appear. You will desire to see clearly. Your conscious will become sensitive and you will have a deepened desire to do what is right in His sight rather than in the sight of man. Realize that Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly in every way. HIS WORD is necessary SPIRITUAL FOOD for our souls!

God also said in the Book of John to “let not your heart be troubled.” It is very important to trust God and His WORD! The earth truly is the Lord’s. Truly He will take care of you. God already knows what is going on in your life and the life of those around you. Just begin to exercise patience. He will bring what happens in the dark to the light. Did you know you have as much time as you need to do the things that God would have you to do. Time belongs to God.

Study the story of Gideon. (See Judges 6) Gideon was nota likely leader. He prevailed not because of how many he had to help him. As a matter of fact the Lord told him he needed fewer people to help him. Gideon faithfully sought the Lord for direction. The Lord told Gideon; “Peace! Do not be afraid> You will not die!” There are many examples in the Word of God to help us in all areas of life. God will supply the necessary talents and resources for you to do whatever He wants you to do. He will supply the few or many you need to help you. This way He gets the GLORY and the VICTORY always belongs to GOD ALMIGHTY. It is not in the amount, how many are for you or against you. Nor in whoever rises up against you. It is in learning how to obey God.

God will make it evident to you and those about you that it is only by His grace and mercy that you can truly be successful. Spiritual success is not in the numbers. Fewer travel the Narrow Path. God knows when you have been raised in His Church and His Church is in you. He knows when you have not been raised in the church and it is your sincere desire to want to know Him. What matters to HIM is your willingness to allow HIM to mold and be shaped through His Living Word and His Holy Spirit. He wants us all to readily “REPENT!” whenever necessary. He is not a respecter of persons and His Love is extended to everyone all over the world. Through FAITH we learn to believe! This is why we are called “Believers!” Christ Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world and He extends HIS LOVE to ALL! He wants to come live within your hearts through eternity and become your personal Lord & Savior! This world was spoken into existence through Him! As believers we are the sheep of His Pasture. The LORD wants to be your SHEPHERD! Remember this; “He leads me in the Path of Righteousness for His Namesake. Yea though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death I WILL fear NO evil. For THOU art with me. THY ROD & STAFF THEY COMFORT me…” Psalms 23 Grace, Joy, Love & Peace to you in Jesus Name! If you really want to be happier, Live Everyday: “To God be the Glory!”
