SPIRITUAL FOOD FOR THOUGHT! & SPIRITUAL GROWTH! 4

“Let the Prophet who has a dream tell his dream, but let the one who has MY WORD speak it FAITHFULLY. For what has a straw to do with grain?” declares the LORD.” Is not MY WORD like FIRE” declares the LORD.” and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

“Therefore,” declares the LORD, “I am against the prophets who steal from one another words that are supposedly from ME. “YES” declares the LORD, “I AM against the prophets who wag their own tongue and yet declare, “The LORD declares.’ Indeed I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares the LORD. They tell them and lead MY people astray with their reckless lies. Yet I DID NOT send or appoint them. They DO NOT benefit these people in the least,” declares the LORD..” Jeremiah 23 ~ WORD FOR TODAY

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

There is a GREAT difference between True & false prophets. Straw is used for food and grain is to nourish. When we are called to proclaim, preach and teach GOD’S WORD be led by the SPIRIT of GOD! Embrace the TRUTH of the WORD of GOD over the traditions of man. Rather if we speak from a pulpit, platform, classroom, face book, share with friends or one on one we are entrusted to truthfully express GOD’S WORD! GOD IS ALWAYS aware of what we say, our thoughts and our motive. PREACH the WORD & not gossip! Whenever we give an opinion it should be made known that is the case. It is not so much about where you physically stand. It is more important that you STAND upon the WORD of GOD! For example; Just know that the pulpit was a platform built for Ezra to stand upon. Here he preached the WORD of GOD all morning long. “And Ezra the Scribe stood upon a “pulpit of wood, which was made for the purpose… Nehemiah 8 Jesus preached outside, inside, on a mountain even from a boat. Know GOD’S WORD for yourself.

Deliverance, Emotional and spiritual Healing is possible with the Lord. In these perilous time it is important to make all people of the world aware of GOD’S OMNIPRESENCE! To teach them how to “BE STILL & KNOW!” Guess what? Judgement begins at the HOUSE of GOD! GOD’S CHURCH is supposed to be “The PILLAR OF TRUTH!”

There is never a need to manipulate or plot… PRAY FOR DISCERNMENT! For; “THE WHEAT and the tares are growing together” TRULY GOD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLES. Allow The LORD to be your defense Instead say: LORD have YOUR WAY!

Jeremiah is a marvelous example! He is known as the weeping prophet. His message often made the people feel sad and not glad. They did not want to change but be made to feel comfortable living in sin. They wanted to go through the motions but not REPENT… They rejected Jeremiah and labeled him negative to discredit him so the people would not receive his message from the Lord! Ministry is not a popularity contest. Look around and see the how the world at large is shifting away from the principles of GOD. It is important to be led by the SPIRIT of GOD. Do not fret because of evil instead BE AWARE TRUST GOD and seek HIS direction in all things. “REJOICE in the LORD ALWAYS!” “Where the Spirit of the LORD is there is Liberty!”

JESUS CHRIST is coming back for HIS CHURCH without spot or wrinkle!

Growing and maturing beyond resentment

Part 1

Resentment can kill or deteriorate any marriage, home, family or relationship if it is not properly dealt with. Resentment means you feel over and over the pain or distaste associated with an act or deed that has been made against you.

Don’t let others continue to disrespect you or undermine who you are becoming in the Lord. Especially when they have showed you over and over who they are. I say “becoming” because we never arrive; there is always room for improvement as long as the Lord has us on this side of Heaven. Pray for discernment. We actually do arrive; when we reach Heaven!

Avoiding conflict or not confronting how you feel and just stowing it away causes resentment to grow and fester. It is healthier to validate your feelings. Resentment hurts you more than it hurts the person you are resenting!

Merriam Webster Dictionary defines resentment as such: “a feeling of indignant displeasure or persistent ill will at something regarded as a wrong, insult, or injury.” You can feel resentment towards a spouse, parent, child, relative, friend, neighbor, boss, coworker, person of the clergy, abuser or even a stranger. Life is precious. It is far better to readily discuss the matter at hand candidly and respectfully.

Many wait too long and allow the clarity of the facts to diminish. Often the truth is totally distorted an misconstrued. Just know if you do not address the associated issue, resentment will keep you fixated upon a momentary encounter for years. It will rob you from moving forward when a lot of the time the person has no clue that you are stuck in an abyss of not liking what was said, done or transferred upon your soul.

You really can become whole! THANK GOD FOR JESUS!

Always seek to build your character in the eyes of GOD. It is HIS opinion of you that matters most. As you grow in the Lord; Fear no one and walk in meekness. Above the Lord is no other. Truly GOD IS OMNIPRESENT

Do not let resentment become the theme of your life, marriage or relationship! Letting go of resentment does not mean that you forget what has happened. Many are quick to say “forgive & forget.” Forgiving does not mean that you should forget. Some things you do not want to forget you want to remember in order to prevent them from happening again. You do however want to work through the hurt or pain associated with it so it therefore no longer holds you captive. Today many seek to relive over and over their issues and often seek out others to further enable them. You really should want to file it away in a healthy manner so that it no longer becomes a trigger for anger nor does it negatively impact your life.

Healing is welcomed because you really do want to become whole!
