~ Cleansing us from sin is the business of the HOLY SPIRIT ~
SALVATION is beautiful. However, as believers none of us are exempt from sin. We are all “SAVED” by GOD’S GRACE. But what makes us different is we as believers have been given the gift of God’s precious HOLY SPIRIT that dwells within us. We are to ask God to fill us whenever necessary. Yes indeed, it is through the power of His precious Holy Spirit we can see and experience Miraculous, Healings & Miracles!
Our body is a Temple where His Holy Spirit, His Comforter resides. His Spirit is the keeper and restorer of our souls. And the Holy Spirit has cleansing power and is able to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. “I AM THE TRUE VINE, AND MY FATHER IS THE HUSBAND MAN. EVERY BRANCH IN ME that beareth not fruit He taketh away. AND EVERY BRANCH THAT BEARETH FRUIT, HE PURGETH IT, THAT IT MAY BRING FORTH MORE FRUIT. NOW YE ARE CLEAN THROUGH THE WORD WHICH I HAVE SPOKEN UNTO YOU. ABIDE IN ME, AND I IN YOU…” JOHN 15
Christ Jesus has imputed His righteousness to us. Once we have truly been “SAVED BY THE GRACE OF GOD” come what may we can rest assured absolutely no one or nothing can ever pluck us out of God’s hands. In the Lord we can be confident! There is genuine grace, joy, peace, security & significance in the Lord. For this we can be eternally thankful. It is important to always make God our top priority. For He can keep us on the Narrow Path. For this is the road less traveled. There is much going on in the world today that is not of God, this is true both inside and about His Church as well. Many times, the traditions, ways and customs of man take precedent over the WORD of GOD. This should not be. Know God and His Word for yourself. This way you will not be tossed about by every wind and doctrine of man. “So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunningness, by craftiness in deceitful schemes…” Ephesians 4
“Be still & KNOW” God will always show us what is going on and happening around us. Make sure you set aside some time with the Lord in His Word and allow Him to direct your path. Take some time away from all the noise going on in this world. This way you will be able to better hear, see, detect and discern the things that are not of God. Always allow Him to direct your path. God knows even before we were in our mother’s womb what His plans are for our lives. See Him above all others. For, it is through the power of His precious Holy Spirit we can see and experience a multiplicity of marvelous Miraculous, Healings & Miracles!
Yes Lord! Know GOD and HIS WORD for yourself!
“We are to be in the world but not of the world.”
And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12
GOD ALWAYS KNOWS HIS OWN!
We as believers are to learn to sin less as we daily “Walk in the Light.” God’s Word is more than able. “Thy WORD is a Lamp unto my feet and a Light unto my path. I Have sworn, and I will keep thy righteous judgments.” Psalm 119 We are without excuse. For God is always willing and ready to help us in any and every situation. Therefore, we should always be willing readily to REPENT whenever we realize that we have sinned. For sin keeps us separated from God. This is true if it is by commission or omission. Staying connected to God is an admirable attainable goal. Commit to embrace God’s Word daily! For “God is Love!” He allows His love to flourish within our lives. Yet also allow Him to teach you how to “Guard your heart!” Having God within our lives truly makes or can make all the difference in the world. It is your choice. God’s Word is the necessary essential spiritual food for our mind, body and souls. We are to actually embrace, implement and daily “live out loud” His Word as His people!
“Draw nigh to GOD and HE will draw nigh to you!”
We, God’s people from all over the world who have truly accepted Christ Jesus into our hearts as our Lord and Savior make up God’s true Universal Church. There are many great places of worship throughout the world where we can gather together and worship, thank, glorify and praise God. But never worship the building, multiplicity of activities, services or the people more than Almighty God Himself. God knows whenever our worship is sincere. God always deserves the preeminence. Make your worship personal. For worship makes us even more aware of who God is. Worship is a time to recognize GOD for who HE is, and what HE means to us. To thank and praise His Holy name. A sacred time to adore, elevate and focus upon giving respect and reverence HIM!!!
God has only (1) one CHURCH. We should always honor God and “Worship Him in Spirit and in TRUTH!” Know that God is forever omnipresent. Therefore, we can call upon our Lord and Savior Jesus to help us at anytime and anywhere 24/7/365 days year after year. God is our Almighty Sovereign God, and He is omnipresent. “What a mighty GOD we serve!” We know not the hour or the day? However, we are to daily live as though we are expecting Christ Jesus to return at any time. Get your house in order! For Christ Jesus is coming back for His Church without spot or wrinkle. “BE GOD’S CHURCH EVERYDAY & EVERYWHERE!”
We are not to demand GOD to do whatever we want.
We can pray (talk to GOD) wherever we are 24/7. Keep in mind His Holy Spirit can keep and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Therefore, we should always approach God in a respectful manner. We have even been given a sample prayer as to how we should honor Him. Such as: “Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done or earth as it is in Heaven…” For God is not a man nor is he like a genie. Yes Lord, as Almighty Sovereign God, we should always reverence Him. God is real and He knows without a doubt when we are real. We are to daily exalt God!
Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus actually spoke everything into existence. He is the living Word of GOD! (Colossians 3) You can also discover more about this all throughout the Bible. Each day is an opportunity to build an ongoing, personal intimate, up close transparent relationship with Him. In Him you can discover everything that you will ever need for life, living and eternal life!
Abba Father God already knows what we are going to say or whatever we all are thinking. Therefore, we do not simply demand Him to do whatever we ask. But as men, women and children of God we are to share, preach, teach, proclaim and daily live out loud His Word. He is our Creator & Maker. He answers all of our prayers according to His Divine and Holy Will! For He always knows what is best!
Know who you are in GOD without doubt. The “CALL” of God is irrevocable. Know this; “HE DID NOT MAKE IT A CONFERENCE CALL!” We can always & forever trust God and His Word in any and every situation. Through our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus we have the VICTORY! For God has promised to “Supply all of our need according to HIS riches in Glory by Christ Jesus!” Philippians 4 “HALLLELLLUJAH THANK YOU!!!”
Unbelievers are encouraged to get to know GOD
Know what you say you believe!
As for the unbelievers who have not accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are to encourage them to embrace the Truth of God’s Word. Know that there are also those who say they are believers yet don’t really know or understand what they believe? In order to be more effective, we must first believe, know and embrace HIS WORD ourselves. We are to point others to Jesus and encourage them to grow in the grace, wisdom and knowledge of His marvelous Word. Time is of the essence for the “Perilous Days” are upon us! Always keep in mind the omniscience of God for He is absolutely aware of everything at all times past, present and future. We can always seek Almighty Sovereign God for direction. We are to demonstrate our faith and belief in God by the manner in which we live and approach life. God always places us within the Body of Christ as He sees fit. For those who oppose the Word we are to be living examples. For those who are on a power trip, or those who seek to undermine or question our integrity give them over to God. Christ Jesus is the only Mediator between us and God. He is the Head of God’s Church. God’s Church is His Bride.
We do not have to argue or force GOD’S WORD upon anyone. Nor do we have to fear them or worry when opposed. “Christ Jesus is our Best Witness!” Be more concerned about knowing how to recognize the voice of God. Know that there will be much spiritual warfare to rise up against you. Study the life of Christ Jesus. For all and everything is HIS. Come what may, earnestly continue to daily seek the will and way of God above all. “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof the world and them that live therein. He has founded it upon the floods…” Psalms 24 Yet keep in mind that we are living in the midst of a “spiritual warzone.” Anything and everything goes… Nothing is sacred to some. They will say and do some of everything… Fret not! Spiritual warfare comes in all sorts of directions. Stay on the “Narrow Path.” & “STAND UPON YOUR SOLID ROCK FOUNDATION!” Therefore, also stay daily adorned in the “Spiritual Armor” of God. However, you should also know without doubt that The WORD of GOD is HIS infallible TRUTH! It is our “Spiritual Sword” that cuts both ways whenever it is properly used… Yes indeed, we can always and forever stand upon GOD’S WORD! Know it has amazing cleansing & miraculous healing power! That is once you know it for yourself. In God we have been given much freedom and liberty. But we are also accountable to Him for how we “live it out loud,” and what we say do, preach and teach in His Name! We as Believers have a responsibility to the LORD to be a daily reflection of Him to the unbelievers of this world knowing that that this world is on a “slippery slope.”
Get your house in order. Don’t delay for tomorrow is not promised! Seek or begin to seek the will and way of God above all!
A spectacular journey awaits us with a plethora of all sorts of spiritual lessons as well as blessings. God places us within the Body Christ as He sees fit. Absolutely no one or nothing can pluck us out of His Hands once you become secure in Him. It is through the amazing power of God’s precious Holy Spirit we can see and experience marvelous Miraculous, Healings & Miracles!
“For it is in HIM that we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17
A Sermon to Remember

A Sermon to Remember
Our journey to Athens Greece is one of the most memorable places we have ever traveled. Perched high is MARS HILL; THE AREOPAGUS. It overlooks this vivacious metropolis. We were in awe of the very realization of the distinct historical ground that we stood upon. Here we were greatly humbled. Here we together praised, thanked and worshipped GOD for HIS marvelous creation. Right in the midst of a plethora of people from all over the world.
Mars Hill is in Athens Greece. It is here you will find the seat of the Ancient Athenian Court. Today there are significant remnants of it that still remain. It is currently being refurbished and fortified to preserve its historical relevancy. Here is where most of the religious problems as well as crimes were judged in the New Testament Era.
Two of the major leading schools of thought were that of the Epicureans and the Stoics. They believed that there were many gods… They in their spiritual blindness and ignorance worshipped idols. They were both thought to be in possession of some of the first and foremost intelligent Greek philosophies of this era. They differed in their beliefs somewhat. However; They both thought agreed and perceived that the Apostle Paul was a babbler. They thought Paul to be strange because he preached to them about JESUS CHRIST and the RESURRECTION.
The Apostle Paul in turn thought them to be too superstitious. He had absolutely no doubt as to who GOD was. He was led by the Spirit of God to give them the WORD! To enlighten them to the one and only true GOD he served, worshipped and lived for.
Here in the Book of Acts is a marvelous unforgettable sermon preached by the Apostle Paul that was proclaimed and spoken in order to bring attention to “The UNKNOWN GOD” they ignorantly spoke of. The God whom they did not fully comprehend. Yes, they referred to HIM, but they did not know that HE IS THE OMNIPOTENT ALMIGHTY HOLY GOD!
It is emphatically clear here on Mars Hill the Apostle Paul undeniably speaks the profound life altering philosophical TRUTH! One must take time to digest and embrace the majestic infallible Word that is revealed here.
GOD does not live in Temples made by human hands. Nor should we serve Him as though He needed anything. IN FACT, IT IS ALL OF US WHO NEED HIM!
May we continue to meditate and ponder upon these enlightening passages of GOD’S infallible WORD! This is what Paul pronounces and brilliantly decrees and preaches to them.
THE APOSTLE PAUL ON MARS HILL; THE AREOPAGUS
“Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars Hill, and said. Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
For as I passed by and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship HIM I declare unto you,
GOD that made the world and all the things therein, seeing that HE is LORD of Heaven and earth, dwelleth not in Temples made by hands;
Neither is worshipped with men’s (women’s) hands as though HE needed anything, seeing HE giveth to all life, and breath and all things:
And hath made of one blood all nations of men (women) for to dwell on the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
That they should seek the LORD, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though HE be not far from any of us;
For it is in HIM we live and move and have our being; as certain also our own poets have said. For we are also HIS offspring
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of GOD, we ought to not think that the GODHEAD is like gold, or silver, or stone, or graven art, and man’s device. And the times of his ignorance GOD WINKED AT, BUT NOW COMMANDETH ALL Men (Women) EVERYWHERE TO REPENT…”
Acts 17
Here in this PROFOUND MESSAGE it is clear that GOD does not need any of us. Nor does HE need anything from us. For it is HE that has given us all things including life and breath. We all; men, women, boys or girls of every nation on the earth have one blood. We ALL NEED THE LORD! Each and every one of us are accountable to HIM!
WE ALL ARE TO SEEK THE LORD DAILY
The beauty of GOD’S WORD is it is living quick powerful and it IS THE TRUTH! It is important to know GOD and HIS WORD for yourself. GOD IS OUR MAKER & CREATOR! Be ye always ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within you. “Study to shew thyself approved unto GOD, a workman that needed NOT be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD of TRUTH… II Timothy 2
If you really want to be BLESSED; spend some quality time with the Lord in His Word! Being blessed really goes far beyond the material blessings… “BLESSED BE THE GOD & FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO HATH BLESSED US WITH ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST.” Ephesians 6 God continuously disburses His blessings as He sees fit or deems appropriate.
Wherever we are we can call upon the Lord in prayer 24/7. “Praying without ceasing” is a state of mind. How about denying yourself some time in the world… And set aside some time to listen intently to the Lord as He speaks to your heart in His Word. Allow Him to grow you in His grace, wisdom & understanding. Truly; HE CAN SET YOU FRE! Learn how to “BE STILL & KNOW!”
Today in this 21st century GOD IS SPEAKING VOCIFEROUSLY to HIS CHURCH, this world and all men, women boys and girls all around the world in many ways. HIS MESSAGE IS STILL: REPENT!!!
See what is happening all around us!
The plague and pestilence that has persisted throughout the world continues to take its casualties. Each day the numbers escalate. Across the globe. “THIS Coronavirus pandemic DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE!” The political divisions throughout the world continues to persist as well. The in-climate weather irregularities persist. The tension between the governing political parties at times have been somewhat disturbing. An uprising of racial discrimination continues to resurface. Nothing is new under the sun.
GOD is never far from any of us. FOR HE IS OMNIPRESENT! There is absolutely nothing that He is not aware of past, present or future. Remember; Each day is a day to grow in His grace, wisdom and understanding. As we actually embrace HIS WORD and implement it within our daily lives the FRUIT of HIS SPIRIT manifests and multiplies within us. We CAN and MUST STAND upon HIS WORD! HOLY FATHER, WE THANK & PRAISE YOU AS YOU POUR OUT YOUR HOLY SPIRIT UPON US LORD GOD!
There is much going on in, around and about this world Christ Jesus spoke into existence. Many are bypassing and overlooking GOD’S WORD and embracing the ways of the world. Truly the Lord knows; Many of the ways of the world have also nested themselves in the midst of GOD’S CHURCH! LORD HAVE MERCY!
Nothing is no longer sacred to many… You can expect some of everything… The WORD of GOD is being fulfilled. No doubt the “Perilous Days” are upon us. As believers we are to daily live as though we are really expecting CHRIST JESUS to return.
This Message on Mars Hills reminds us of the importance of knowing GOD for ourselves. This was true then, Now and will be so throughout eternity.
GOD Speaks to HIS CHURCH in Revelation
In Revelation GOD speaks to HIS CHURCH about what is happening and what is to COME! In all of the (7) seven Churches there was a need for improvement. The Church is the Bride of Christ! Each of them was told; “He that hath an ear, let Him hear what the SPIRIT saith unto the Churches.” Revelation 1,2 & 3
“I JESUS have sent my Angel to testify unto you these things in the Churches, I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the SPIRIT and the BRIDE say, COME. And let HIM that heareth say, COME. And whosoever will let His/her take the water of life freely…” Revelation 22
GOD is a just GOD! We can be sure at His appointed time He will bring to light what has been done in the dark. He will right every wrong…
BECAUSE HE HATH APPOINTED A DAY, IN WHICH HE WILL JUDGE THE world in RIGHTEOUSNESS by that MAN whom HE hath ordained: whereof He hath given assurance unto all men/women that HE has raised HIM from the dead…” Acts 17
We can live and be confident every day knowing that in GOD’S time He will deal with everyone and everything justly.
“AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THE LAST DAYS, SAITH THE GOD, I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT; UPON ALL FLESH; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND OUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS;
AND ON MY SERVANTS AND MY HANDMAIDENS I WILL POUR OUT IN THOSE DAYS OF MY SPIRIT, AND THEY SHALL PROPHESY. AND I WILL SHOW WONDERS IN HEAVEN ABOVE, AND SIGNS IN THE EARTH BENEATH, BLOOD AND FIRE AND VAPOR AND SMOKE.
THE SUN SHALL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS, AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THAT GREAT NOTABLE DAY OF THE LORD COME; AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS THAT WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.” Acts 2
So, let us not take time for granted. Let us live each day expecting our Lord Jesus Christ to return. For without notice; “in a twinkling of an eye” HE IS coming back for HIS CHURCH without spot or wrinkle.

Part 2
STOP THE MADNESS
GOD really does have a better way.
Should children be corrected? Yes indeed! But think before your buttons are pushed like a remote control. Proper correction is always done in love. Learn to correct and control yourself before you try to correct them. If not don’t expect them to do any differently. For they will simply model your behavior. Do you treat them the way you want to be treated? Think about how You would feel if it were you, being treated the way you treat them… To break a cycle you must do something differently.
IF you don’t have self-control yourself; simply remove yourself momentarily from their presence unto you can discipline them properly. Afterall you are supposed to be the responsible adult. Begin to set yourself and them free at the same time. Admit you need to develop healthy boundaries. You become what you practice. Yes, please do correct them and also correct yourself. REPENT!
LET’S STOP the VIOLENCE! Violence begats violence. There is too much violence going on all throughout this world. Get BETTER, not bitter. Get real, this does not have to be. Many have lived wrong for so long this is all that they know. Get aware and make it a point to lessen the frequency of emotional, mental & physical, abuse and really EMBRACE LOVE! Remember; LOVE IS PATIENT! Not the distorted worldly definition of love but GOD’S LOVE that corrects, protects, makes, awakens, shapes and molds us in HIS IMAGE! GOD’S LOVE allows the FRUIT of HIS SPIRIT to flourish and abound within us. GOD’S LOVE lasts through ETERNITY!
FRUIT OF HIS SPIRIT
“But the FRUIT of the SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS and SELF-CONTORL. Against such is NO LAW. Those who BELONG to CHRIST JESUS have CRUCIFIED the sinful nature with its passions and desires, Since WE LIVE BY THE SPIRIT, let us KEEP IN STEP WITH THE SPIRIT. Let us become NOT conceited, provoking and envying one another…”
GALATIANS 5
WORKS OF THE FLESH
“THE ACTS OF THE sinful nature are obvious sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealously, fits of rage, self-ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn You, as I did before, that those who live like this WILL NOT INHERIT the KINGDOM of GOD…”
GALATIANS 5
There is no power that even comes close to our OMNIPOTENT GOD!!! Aways keep in mind that GOD is also OMNIPRESENT so you can call upon him 24/7. He can help you. It is by HIS marvelous grace we can become more and more disciplined… He is able in any and every situation to help you rise above anything that attempts to make you focus or lose control. It could be something as simple as pushing away from the table. Or knowing when to speak softly or yes when to speak firm & strong. Healthy boundaries keep us in line and teach us to exercise self-control… PRAY FOR DISCERNMENT! Know that there are those who will attempt to test you far beyond anything that they themselves could ever endure. Remember we access GOD’S POWER. But we never become the power. This is why we ALL are forever dependent upon our LORD & SAVIOR CHRIST JESUS.
Learn to trust GOD!!!
Live to Please the LORD in all that You do. DON’T just go to CHURCH. “BE GOD’S CHURCH EVERYDAY & EVERYWHERE!” Scripture is powerful. It is our necessary essential Spiritual Food. It is required in order to properly grow spiritually. “DO NOT CONFORM to this world! “Therefore, I urge You, brothers, in view of GOD’S mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, HOLY and pleasing to GOD ~ this is your spiritual act of worship. DO NOT CONFORM any longer to the pattern of this world, BUT BE TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of your mind. Then you WILL BE ABLE to TEST & APPROVE what GOD’S WILL IS! HIS GOOD, PLEASING & PERFECT WILL.” ROMANS 12 (NIV) Be led by the Spirit of God!
GOD does not ask us to do something that is not possible. It is through HIM we are able to do what seems impossible to man. Whenever we solicit HIS HELP we should first desire that whatever we are asking for is in HIS WILL! GOD always knows what is best for us!
WALK IN THE LIGHT
It is very important to KNOW the difference between; THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT & The works of the flesh. To every problem GOD has a solution. We just need to seek HIS WILL & HIS WAY above the ways of man/woman. Look all around you and see with your spiritual eyes. Things have gotten out of hand. Think globally and look universally; See what is happening to families, marriages, relationships, governments, cities, nations, countries, life, within the Church and living life as a whole…
No doubt the horrendous impact of the Coronavirus plague and pestilence, is a resulting consequence of what has been going on all throughout the world. All have been impacted one way or another. Remember it is still here. God’s Word is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. We have to continuously learn how to live safely & wisely as the Word of God continues to be fulfilled all around us. Time out for foolishness. Things have gone too far… The “Latter Days” are upon us.
There is always HOPE in the LORD!
God is speaking we must get better at listening. Therefore, we ALL need CHRIST JESUS as our personal SAVIOR and LORD and HIS HOLY SPIRIT; HIS COMFORTER. HIS HOLY SPIRIT WILL LEAD US to ALL TRUTH! As we walk in TRUTH we allow the LORD to bring healing to our hearts, minds, bodies, souls as well as our homes… GOD IS THE GOD OF ALL COMFORTS! Begin to really TRUST GOD & HIS WORD and “WALK IN THE LIGHT!”

Spiritual Food For Thought & Spiritual Growth 6

Spiritual Food For Thought & Spiritual Growth 6
“We as believers cannot follow the ways of this world and live a life that is pleasing to the LORD! It really is not logical. Take a few moments or more of your time daily and meditate upon the WORD of GOD. Be encouraged, convicted if warranted and also inspired to keep continually moving forward growing in HIS Grace.
GOD’S WORD is necessary Spiritual Food for our souls. It refuels, refreshes, revives and also empowers us to live for HIM! Prayer is very important. This is how we communicate with the Lord. Stay connected to the Him and “Pray without ceasing” all throughout your day. I even recommend taking “Praise Breaks” throughout the day. Know that God is Omnipresent. The more you become aware of His presence you will become stronger and securer in your personal relationship with Him.
We the people are HIS Church. The building is not the Church, it is where we assemble together to Worship the Lord. Our bodies as believers who have accepted Christ Jesus into our hearts as Lord and Savior is a Temple where His Holy Spirit dwells. Many come together for many reasons… The Father, His Son the Living Word, Christ Jesus and Holy Spirit should always be the man focus during worship. Therefore pray before, during and after you assemble together to worship.
We as His Church are supposed to be the LIGHT of this world. No doubt there are so many very unusual things going on all about us all around the world. This is true during worship as well. No need for alarm for this all serves to verify and confirm the TRUTH of HIS WORD. Some of everything is going on in these “Last Days.” Simply take time periodically and see if you are on the Narrow Path that leads to Him or traveling or teetering the broad road that leads to destruction… Truly GOD is able to keep us! Whenever necessary; readily REPENT & REFOCUS! Regularly take spiritual baths in HIS WORD. It has amazing miraculous cleansing POWER!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, “Your Kingdom come. Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”
Every day is a good day to Worship & Praise our Lord! True worshipers must “WORSHIP HIM in SPIRIT & in TRUTH” whenever or wherever we worship. Remember we are the Ecclesia meaning: His Worldwide Church is a committed congregation of believers. We the collective body of Christian believers who have confessed Christ Jesus, are regarded as actually constituting one Universal Church under God. We are to daily trust the Lord, commit to His Word and “Walk by Faith”
It is in the beginning in Genesis we discover that the world was spoken into existence by the Word which is Christ Jesus. This is confirmed in the Book of John. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” John 1
“NOW FAITH is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through Faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Hebrews 11
Intimacy With God ~ The Desired Destination Part 2

Paul was concerned because some of the “Church from Chloe’s household” had informed him that there were quarrels among them. Paul realized the need to address the conflict which hindered their spiritual growth. Listen closely to the rebuke. He adamantly expresses the need for a call for genuine repentance, as well as exhortation. Paul’s sincere intent was to bring them closer to the Lord.
The Church is supposed to cultivate a passion for daily living for the Lord! Not just attending worship services. The Church was meant to stand for righteousness and be the Spiritual Light of the world. God uses whomever He pleases to fulfill the mission of His Church. According to the Word; “God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things that are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” I Corinthians 1; 27-29
Walking with the Lord is not a role to be played but a life to be lived! This is why Paul says “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” God is so worthy of all our praise! It is really by and through the power of His Holy Spirit we can attain a deeper ever growing level of intimacy that will enhance your personal walk with Him.
Due to the mindset of many of the Corinthians it was difficult to break the many strongholds. Carnality and spiritual immaturity permeated their atmosphere. Today as well during a service, although emotions and energy may be high it can still be void of spiritual depth. At times the atmosphere is orchestrated to a degree to get the people to react rather than simply naturally respond. God really does know where each of us are in our personal walk with Him.
Paul had to withstand some very severe personal attacks from the Corinthian Church. Their ritualistic traditions often impeded the move of the Holy Spirt. Paul was troubled to the point he had to defend his beliefs. He had no need to manipulate the people. His desire was to appeal to their conscience. He wanted them to experience the genuine abiding peace of the Lord. Although troubled he remained encouraged and thankful for the Lord’s guidance. Despite the persecution he wanted to “…give the light of the knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” II Corinthians 4
Paul’s concerns have been recorded as a permanent record. In His second letter to the Church in Corinth he continues to relay his sincere concerns to the struggling congregation due to both internal and external problems. This is why Paul’s ongoing desire was for their spiritual growth. Spiritual warfare was all about him. As a rebuttal and deterrent Paul’s credibility was questioned. Yet, Paul did not allow this to sidetrack his assignment. We too must remain focused when spiritual warfare presents itself. God in His own time will bring everything to the light. The victory is truly in sincere praise!
Having intimacy in your relationship with the Lord is one of the most important intangible things that you could possibly possess. God knows our place within the body of His Church. This will help you to know that God is a God of all comforts. That nothing comes your way that He is not aware of. God can, and is truly the only one, “who comforts us in all of our troubles, so that we can comfort those who are in trouble, with the comfort we ourselves have been comforted by God….” II Corinthians 1:4.
Paul helps us to know that despite our efforts we can be greatly misunderstood. Sometimes we have to simply show a contrast. Sometimes we just have to simply remain still… Many look for an outer manifestation of the Spirit. Rather than focus on welcoming the indwelling deep inner presence of the Lord. Paul realizes that there is great need for discipline and self control. “Wherefore, we labour, that, whether present, or absent, we may be accepted of HIM. For we must ALL appear before the judgment seat of CHRIST; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, GOOD or bad…” II Corinthians 4
Paul’s writing includes significant teaching on a plethora of issues relating to sin and righteousness. Paul addresses the congregation by stating that he was called by the will of God. This in it self caused much resistance. In I Corinthians he dealt with the diversity of sexual sins and what happens when God’s plan for marriage and family are disobeyed see 7:1-40. He addressed the fact how proper worship flows from us by sincerely acknowledging God’s place in our life see 3:16-23. The pure significance of partaking in the Lord’s Supper see 11:17-34. Paul continues in significant detail a discussion on the effectiveness of exercising spiritual gifts as to when and how they should be properly exercised or not? Harmony and order were desired whenever they assembled. Christ really does deserve to always be the “Mainstay” of all our worship!
God has bestowed upon us the blessing of His Holy Spirit to abide within and to assist us in living a life pleasing in His sight. You must ask for this infilling presence daily. I encourage you to take some time to get to really know the Lord intimately. His Word has cleansing power. Repent of any and all sin before it ferments. His Word In Your Life

Making a decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the most important thing that you can do in life. This is the first step in your ongoing process of spiritual growth and development. One must commence to study and embrace the Truth of God’s Word. This is a crucial path in order to foster an internal environment within oneself where the fruit of His Spirit can flourish. There is much security in Salvation. Salvation is not based on works. But it is important to know that whenever you decide to really live your life for the Lord you also become an open target for spiritual warfare. This will come not only from the world and or non believers but from those who say they believe as well. If you closely study the life of Jesus you will see that a majority of His struggles was with the established religious leaders as well as the local and civil authorities. They totally misconstrued His earnest intentions. They rejected Him because they felt that He was a threat to their positions and way of life. Little did they know that He came to enrich their lives. Jesus came that we might have “life and have it more abundantly.” Not just in a superficial material way. He wanted them as well as us to really know that “He was the way the Truth and the life”. That when you truly have Him you have everything you need or will need! If you are serious about enhancing your walk with the Lord I strongly recommend the Book of Romans. It thoroughly explains the major doctrines of the Christian faith and the benefits of having an intimate relationship with the Lord.
God will never direct you to do anything that goes against His principles. But how would you really know this if you do not study His Word? Someone else could have told you this; but it’s not the same. It is vital to know the Lord and His Word firsthand. When I say study I do not mean in a mechanical rote fashion. You can read and or expound upon the Word of God all the time and its contents will remain simply as mere lifeless words. You must be sincerely motivated by your desire to know Him! God’s Word is alive! It encompasses a plethora of spiritual nutrients that are absolutely necessary to sustain us. This opportunity is not only designated expressly for a select few. But it is necessary to posture yourself in a position where you are willing to relinquish whatever hinders your spiritual connection to Him. You must take the necessary time to invoke His presence. When you approach God’s Word you must approach it like no other. God knows right where you are. He knows every single one of your wants, needs and desires. His Holy Spirit is the necessary credible teacher. His Holy Spirit will open your understanding and illuminate your path as you journey together through His marvelous Word. In His written Word you will find the true essence of life! You can stand firmly on all the promises of the Lord.
Once you claim to be a believer you must really become rooted and grounded in His Word. If you are not, life will just tow you right along. You will also have a tendency to adapt and conform to the world and embrace its liberality as far as immorality or anything goes mentality. God tells us just the opposite. God is love. So if God is love how can you really love without him? To really know what love is you need to know how God defines love. Love goes far beyond “intoxicating affections”. God tells us to be “transformed by the renewing of your mind.” It is by the Word of God your mind in renewed. You can become enlightened to what life is really all about. It is not just about your problems or what is going on with you. It is about our relationship to Him as Creator. The Lord is constant. Remember it is in His Word you will find life. There is nothing that is new under the sun. There is nothing that God is not aware of past, present or future. That in itself should give you all the motivation you need to live your life for Him. Life can and will present many challenges. But when you know that your life is in the hands of the Lord you can rise to the occasion. Knowing that we have been created in the Lord’s image to worship Him gives life meaning. Each day becomes a quest. Good, bad or indifferent each experience is an opportunity to grow and spiritually mature. It is easy to become sidetracked by whatever is going on about you. But you must always keep in mind that nothing happens in life that gets by God!
The Old Testament is rich and saturated with a wealth of rich History. There are numerous invaluable accounts of situations and scenarios that took place. It tells you of what happened; when they obeyed or disobeyed and the results. It even tells you how when they even walked uprightly spiritual warfare abounded. Yet God was there for them. They knew as we can know now that you can stand firmly on all the promises of God. This is why it is so important when anything is going on to know that “God always has everything under His control.” His Word says “He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” It did not say that evil would not try to disrupt, divide, discredit, or entrap you. It does say that you do not have to fear because you know that God will comfort you and see you through! As a matter of fact the Word says to “overcome evil with good.” You can have peace knowing that Truth is on your side. God is a Spirit of Truth! God is so awesome! God always has a remnant of His people that truly desire to live His way. When spiritual warfare is about you it is important to readily allow the Lord to take the reigns in your life. It is really better to not wait until you are presented with a challenge to put your trust in Him. God wants you to seek Him daily. “If you trust in Him with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding He will direct your path.” God knows any seen and unforeseen danger. The Lord does not want you tossed to and fro. He has a plan for your life. Always keep in mind that time belongs to God. In His time He will bring to pass whatever He has created us for and whatever He wants us to do. Always remember the victory is in the praise.
Life brings about many lessons. When things get off track God has a remedy. But most of the time pride prohibits one from admitting that something is wrong or they were wrong or something needs to be different. The Bible is full of wisdom. Solomon was one of the wisest men to ever live. When He built the temple after much prayer he earnestly and sincerely prayed to the Lord. David his father who was a man after God’s own heart wanted to build the Temple for the Lord. He was very intelligent and insightful. David even composed many of the Psalms. But since he was a man of war the Lord had him only just provide many of the provisions to build the Temple. He told David that it would be his son Solomon that would actually build the temple. Although David was undefeated in war and the affairs of the land he had much chaos at home. This is another example why it is so important to instill godly principles in your children. The greatest gift you can give them is to have reverence for the Lord. Solomon humbled himself before the Lord and asked the Lord to give him wisdom and a discerning heart. He had a stalwart desire to distinguish between right and wrong. God wants us too to be discerning. Discernment is a fruit of His Spirit. Spending time with God will truly enhance your spiritual discernment. The Bible tells us that there will never be another like Solomon. (read I Kings). God does not want us to be like any one else. But He does want us to continue to grow and walk in His ways.
Prayer is essential in order to communicate with God. Prayer can be uttered orally, or unspoken. God’s Word tells us to pray unceasingly. This form of prayer is a state of being that God has said is possible. While you are going about your accustomed duties you continue to commune with the Lord; yet you remain focused on what is at hand. Although difficult to achieve; to the degree you implement this principle it increasingly becomes feasible. No, this is not some incoherent state. In actuality you are learning to be mindful of your thoughts. You practice intentionally shifting your focus to Him. Whenever you are inspired to pray one should approach God with a respectful, gracious reverence. Although we can go boldly before His presence God is not to be commanded of anything. Prayer is also a time to commune and give thanks to Him. A repentant and contrite heart is of great significance in the eyes of the Lord. Prayer is a special time to earnestly pour out our heart and supplications for ourselves as well as others. A time to ask and seek His direction for your path forward. It is not so much in the tone or cadence which we speak; but the posture of our heart. God cannot be manipulated. It is always most beneficial to keep in mind that God is all wise and all knowing. He knows before we approach Him who we are, what are our requests and desires as well as our motives. We can now pray graciously and thankfully knowing because of Jesus and His love for us that we now have direct access to our Father. Therefore one should ask daily for His abiding infilling presence.
We must be willing to relinquish anything that hinders our communication with the Lord. God really does know what is best for us. He wants us to discipline ourselves by walking in the Light of His Word. This is why it is important to know His Word for your self. It is never too late to start and develop your very own personal study and prayer time. Remember you don’t even have to utter a word. God instilled within Solomon much wisdom. It was after over four hundred years the children of Israel came out of Egypt that Solomon actually begun to build the Temple. Please just take some time and read about the discipline, all the work and dedication that took place in building the Temple and its furnishings. The Lord kept and still does keep His promises. We have so much to learn from God’s Word about life and living. When Solomon dedicated the Temple there was so much sincerity in His prayer that the priests could not enter to minister. The glory of the Lord filled the temple in a cloud. They worshipped and praised the Lord saying; He is good; His love endures forever.” The love of God does last forever! God wants us to walk in His ways so much that He allowed His Son to come in a body of flesh. To live a sinless life and overcome sin in the flesh for us. To even be crucified on that shameful cross. But we must remember He rose with all power! We now have the privilege of having His Holy Spirit reside within us.
We need to organize our lives with the Lord at the center. In the midst of a standardless society having Jesus as Lord and Savior will give you joy and peace. By faith we know that God has promised to “never leave or forsake us”. When the Lord appeared to Solomon long ago he told him what we need to do when things are not going right. The world today in many ways has begun to entangle its principles and ways with the people of God. Look around and see the signs of time, all the phenomenon and various types of storms, earthquakes, pestilence, varied diseases, famines and………….. The Lord really is going to return someday. Solomon knew the benefits of discernment. The Lord told Solomon; “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices. When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.” Our sacrifice today is supposed to be our sincere praise! God is the same yesterday, today and forever more. God does not live in a temple made by hands. His Word tells us now our body is the temple where His Holy Spirit resides. God is awesome! When we come together in the Sanctuary that is dedicated to Him should it not be the most important reason to worship and give Him praise? No, it’s to take an offering or raise money.….. Do we not trust Him to supply all of our needs? Making the decision to accept Jesus as your personal Savior is one of the most important things that you can do. It is at this point you invite Him into your heart. Whatever comes your way in life He will be there for you! Begin to genuinely, diligently study, embrace and implement the Lord’s Word in your life. When you really learn to “Trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him.” He will surely direct your path! To God Be the Glory!
